Delete your StashIt account

You can delete your StashIt account and the data attached to it at any time. This page explains how, what deletion covers, and how long it takes.
Fastest — if you still have the app
Delete it in the app
Open StashIt and go to Account → Delete Account. Your account is deleted straight away — you don't need to contact us. The steps are the same on iPhone and Android.
If you've uninstalled the app
Ask us to delete it
Send the request from the email address on your account, so we can be sure it's you. We'll reply to confirm, then delete it.

What we keep, and why
We keep the minimum records the law requires us to — payment records, for example. We keep them only for as long as we have to, and we never use them to rebuild your account. Everything else in the list above is gone.
How long it takes
Delete it in the app and your account, Vault and history are gone straight away. The last traces — backups and logs — clear within 30 days. If you email us instead, we'll acknowledge your request within 2 business days and finish it inside the same 30 days, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your Vault, scans and history can't be recovered, and signing up again starts an empty account.
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us — cancel yours in the App Store or Google Play first, or you may keep being charged.
